As a non-profit organization, James White’s Fort relies on the support of people like you with a mission to help preserve the history of Knoxville, its founder, and Knoxville’s First Home. There are many ways to support us!
The James White’s Fort Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by IRS law. Donations can be made online below, or with a check made payable to James White’s Fort and mailed to: James White’s Fort, 205 East Hill Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee 37915. Donations to James White’s Fort support our mission of preservation of Knoxville’s First Home and our pioneer heritage through tours, events and educational programs.
We have a variety of needs from gardening and beautification, multi-media presentations, to electrical repairs. You can chose many specific areas to earmark your contribution.

1786 FOUNDATION
Maintenance of our Historic Home is ongoing. Contributions that are made to the 1786 Foundation will be used for capital and grounds improvements. Help us keep the Fort looking nice!
